Check the lens, sometimes dirt gets in there. Try to run a DVD cleaning disk... they are sold at many places, they are cheap and you can still use them for cleaning your CD players and DVD players at home. This should fix the problem.... if not ... try to shake the DVD player gently to remove any foreign matter that could be stuck somewhere...good luck!
this is a problem the microsoft has been working on ... remove any disc from the tray> unplug it from all power the plug it back in> open the disc tray .. leave it open for a little while like 10-15 seconds .. then put the game in and it should work .. if it does not however you have one of the defected disc trays and you'll need to get it repaired by microsoft .. i know its not what you want to hear but hey at least they will fix it free of charge =]
I had the same problem. It turns out that my adapter for my Dell Digital Jukebox mp3 player works great. You might be able to order one from Dell. I hope this helps.
open it and clean it from the inside with a air brush. Clean the lens, the battery, the motherboard, well just air brush the parts you can. CAREFULLY though. If you rip anything the DVD player is gone. Most of the time dust collects inside and a air brush can't get to though place of the lens from the outside. Hope This Help.
