The model did not return any information,so I am unable to supply you with any assistance there. The noise could be a roller, belt, foreign object in a loose baffle, idler pulley. Double check your model no. then reference the link provided,..... https://www.repairclinic.com/ for detailed info.

SOURCE: dryer belt PH 1930 for danby model dcd5505w-1

Call Danby Customer Service at 1-800-263-2629; The part costs $25 or so plus another $7 shipping. Better than getting it through a distributor, I was given a price of $40 through a local place.

SOURCE: Danby Dryer too hot

First of all, check to see if you have a hose going outside that is fully clear of lint from beginning to end. then check to see if your heat is staying the same on a empty load run machine empty, then turn your thermostat to cool after it heats up and see if the temp went down to see if working properly.

SOURCE: running with no heat

Check for a blown thermal fuse or a faulty heating element. Both components should be located inside the rear of the dryer. The thermal fuse is about an inch long and is usually attached to or near the exhaust duct. Both components can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity will indicate a faulty component. Really sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

Dryer runs but wont tumble

Try checking to see if the dryer belt is broken, the dryer belt wraps around the drum and goes to a motor at the bottom of the dryer that turns the drum, if so you can usually get a replacement belt from the maker of your dryer by visiting there website.
