My problem is that i don't know how to turn off my bose companion 2 II, so i've been unplugging it from electricity whenever i don't use it, but i think that's wrong. Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Maybe a tranformer burnout, this is the most common cause, refer to a Bose service center

Scan your computer with RadarSync so that it will detect which driver updates are needed. It will grab the drivers and update them.

I found that the 12v power pack from an external hard drive works fine. I think you need the 5.5 x 2.5 mm plug.

I have had totally the same problem before, and I have discovered that it is actually because of the electric current running through the speakers when the volume is low or muted.

I am afraid to tell you that the only solution to this problem is to raise the volume, as it is not a malfunction in the speakers but in the electric current running through them.

try reinstalling the software for them then make sure your sound card drivers are installed properly

use 220 volts , 50 watts

make sure there turned on or make sure it`s in the right AUX input

you must check the connection with the other speaker.

My puppy chewed through the cord for my a/c adapter, I just took the speakers into Circuit City, and they found me a workable replacement (the replacement isn't BOSE, but it works just fine).  Hope that helps!
