When I turn on my Sony KV-27FS210 TV, all I get is a blank screen with no sound. The timer/standby indicator light blinks 5 times which suggests that there is something wrong with the AKB. After reading various posts, the possible fixes are replacing one of the boards and/or turning up the screen.
I'm just wondering what the price range (including parts and labor) would be to fix my TV if I took it into a repair shop.
Power ic 5pin no on set dead chageing ok but problum
If you have little experience of TV repair then take off back cover of Sony Kv-27FS210 and find Screen Control Knob on flyback transformer, turn that knob slightly CW or CCW and turn on TV to get picture. I think you need to turn ON TV few times to get proper adjustement of screen volts.
Above said procedure is for non-tech person.
(Tech person will adjust screen volts (G2) as per procedure mentioned in service manual with proper tools.)
Five blinks - AKB
circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks
for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function.
Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761
and other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on
the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking, try turning
up screen slightly.
