Question about Pioneer Car Audio & Video
I was at a Walmart or an auto parts store and saw some adapters that would adapt Vehicles factory wiring over to Modern car stereos - if you find the section in automotive with the adapters, you might be able to call the company and see if they have the adapter you need for your system.

You can find a wiring diagram for your 87 monte at http://www.modifiedlife.com/1987-chevrolet-monte-carlo-car-audio-wiring-schematic/ You can refer to the installation manual for your deck at http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/Manuals/130/130AVHP570.PDF Since you are removing a shaft style radio and installing a DIN style you will need to perform extensive modifications to your dash. The Pioneer manual provides the dimensions.
