Putting music onto phone

i can guide you through the prossess of connecting it through a usb cable, and can suggest other options that will enable you to get music onto your phone if this fails.

You cannot put music strait onto youe phone from the cd first it needs to be ripped onto your computer, and converted into an mp3 file so that the phone can play this. if you cannot do this, then reply to this solution, or post it as another question.

USB Cable Link
  1. turn on your phone and pc and plug the cable into both
  2. look on the phone screen to see if it is asking anything. if it asks what mode you wish to use, choose FILE TRANSFER.
  3. depending on your computor different things may happen, but it should install automatically.
  4. once this is done, your phone will act and appear on your computor the same a memory stick would.
  5. to add music (or any other type of file) just got to my computor, double click on your phone, go to the music file, and simply paste the music you have ripped from your cd there

if you have any questions or trouble will this contact me on my account

please take the time to rate this solution thanks :)

I cannot download songs from itunes onto my sansa

This can get quite difficult due to copyright problems. Even though you legally purchased the music, ITunes uses something called Digital Rights Management to keep people from doing anything illegal with their products. In addition, the Sansa media player most likely does not support MP4 format, which is what ITunes plays music in. Hopefully, you dont have many songs you are wanting to do this with. You have 1 of 3 options that I know of:

1. -Burn all files onto a blank cd.
-Re-load the files into itunes from the blank cd (Import) (This
strips the DRM and should allow you to put the music into a
foreign player). You will, however, lose the artwork from the
songs and will have to re-name them most likely.
-You will also have duplicate songs in ITunes until you delete
the copy you dont want (or keep it).
2. Purchase a software like noteburner which can strip DRM for
you (does the same as option 1, just cleaner). Costs approx.
$35.00
3. Trade the Sansa for an IPOD.

IVE JUST BOUGHT A LAPTOP,IVE GOT MY ITUNES ON IT AND IT WONT LET ME COPY ANY OF MY MUSIC ONTO DISC.

are you trying to copy music onto a cd disk or onto your ipod. If you are trying to copy music onto your ipod, you will have to clear the ipod of the music that was loaded onto it previously, because it will not detect your new settings on your laptop. An easy way to do this is copy over your itunes music folder onto cd/dvd from your old computer and paste the music into your itunes music folder on your laptop. When you open itunes go to file, import file, and choose your itunes music folder. (If it hasn't aready automatically picked the music up). This will put all of your music back into the itunes library. You will then need to create another playlist for your ipod. Reset your ipod in itunes mode and upload your new playlist onto it. If you have vista on your laptop then you may need to download the lastest version of itunes. You can do that by going here> http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
I hope this helps

Downloading software

I feel someone is a little peeved but hey calm down
'HONESTLY.... NO WORRIES & NO PROBLEM'
You have a disk to download music.

Is this a floppy disk or is it a cd?

Some computers nowadays dont come with floppy drives due to They are a little out of date.

Most drivers/programs ect.. are now usually on cd or dvd because it is quicker/easier & well.... Quite cheap.
Now then...
1 stly. If it is a floppy disk read what it says on the front & do a google search for the exact same software
for example...
google (blah blah blah software free download)

& download / run
(blah blah blah) being the software name

IF you have a cd & the cd is smaller than the usual size cd
(DONT WORRY)
These smaller disks are no different to an ordanary cd except they have less disk space on them & they are cheaper.

Put it in your disk drive (In the centre) Close the drive & double click (if it doesnt auto-run) on your cd drive & click on the program & it should load up all being Well.
Note:
You DO NOT have to install software for putting music onto these mp3 players.
If you have a music cd,you Could copy it onto the mp3 just buy popping the cd into the cd drive & copying the track to the mp3 player.
You Also DO NOT have to have software for downloading music onto your mp3 players.
Head over to the I.tunes website (for example) search & find the music you want & download to your mp3.
