Question about Epiphone Music
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Almost always, a Bass guitar would require a hefty amp quite different in terms of construction design to most guitar amps.
Offhand, the problem would be internal on the electronics board. Most likely culprit if it will power on but no sound would be the final/output transistors.
If there is no power indicator at all, then it would most likely be the power supply section.
Any competent electronics tech should be able to perform the repairs since the parts (to my knowledge) are readily available from most electronics parts stores including Radio Shack and **** Smith.
Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.

This is really a personal choice as long as the strings are made for an electric guitar there are hundreds of different kinds, it mostly has to do with the thickness of the strings and how the thinner the string the easier it is to manulipulate, you should go to a good music store and tell them what type of music you play and they will give you some choices.

well, i have this guitar, for me if i bent the string it would pop off the nut, but it went out of tune on me also becuase of the tuners. so i suggest checking the nut to make sure the string sits completely flush in there, and than also just upgrading your tuners if you can and it will be fine. but deffinately upgrading your tuners would stop that hopefully but still could be something with the nut becuase i had both. tuners = machine heads

The negative battery terminal will go to a black wire and that will be soldered to one of the volume control cases. That makes the remaining wire easy. The negative terminal pole on the battery is the larger round one.
