Hello, My name is Alexandru Cotoi and I'm writing this email from Europe, more precisely Romania. I know your site is banned here but I managed to find your email so I started writing you. My Tv is a PHILIPS 65pus7600/12. Precisely after the warranty expired (that's 2 years) I started experience some problems with it. The first problem was that the right side of the TV got Darker in a couple of seconds after starting the TV. First I thought is a problem with the light sensor inside and tried to minimize the light in the room to see if something would change. After a couple of weeks the problem got worse and the TV screen would turn pitch black in like 10-20 minutes after starting on but with the sound still working. If i'm looking very carefully I can see some shadows of the image from a side. A couple of weeks later The Tv would turn pith black in just 2-3 seconds after turning on and with the sound still working. My guess is that it must have something to do with the backlight of the screen. Please please help me find a solution for this TV since it was a very expensive one (around 3000 $). I'm very grateful and I hope to get a response form you soon.

Try to defrag the drive .... is not workd thn format it manually frm PC n reset the set hopefully it will get back to normal. i did this with mine go gear n its fine now.

Philips TV. was working fine but now picture fades to black. sound is on. If we turn unit off/on picture returns...but will fade again. can fade one minute later or ten minutes later...unit id about 5 years old. 29 inch. (tube flat screen)

I had the same problem here and was able to fix it for under $5.00 I had researched what other people had done and made a video of it. I broke the video down into 5 parts because my comp and youtube are not compatible. There is no quick Fixya to this problem, As a repair tech I understand but your PSU power supply unit overheated causing you logic board to give you this flashing red light, I cannot help you 1,500 miles away and would like a good rating for the information though, phillips has so many autherized repair centers that I would call if I where you, this can be fixed for under $100 bucks phillips manavox psu boards are cheap and the labor will dpend on where you live, if this information find helpful to you please rate accordenly thank you and good luck!!
