SOURCE: BOSCH Washing Machine -Door Seal

1) remove the tension ring under the rim of the seal at the front
2) flip the whole seal into the drum so that you can get at the inside of the seal
3) remove the tension ring hold the seal to the outer tub
4) reverse of the process to put in the new seal

Its as simple as that.

After disconnecting the mains open up behind, it could be a shock absorber (damper) which is broken.

The plug of my Bosch Maxx7 melted and also the lead. I put a new plug etc on and the spinn light keep flashing and tried to reset the machine but it wont come on.

Most likely, the main control board of the washing machine was damaged by the power surge that melted the plug. Additional wiring damage may have also occurred. The damaged electrical parts will have to be replaced.

Please add a comment with the model number of your washer if you'd like a parts diagram and price list for your machine. The parts diagram for one Bosch Maxx7 model, WAE28490GB,
is available here: http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/customer-service/care-protection-and-parts/WAE28490GB/01#/TabsTogglebox=spare-section-3/ . See diagram 1/5.

Your homeowner's insurance may pay for the damage, under some circumstances. It isn't covered by the Bosch warranty.

Bosch exxcel 1200 express

As the control board failed it could have let too much power reach any of the other components in the machine. Any electronic components could now be damaged. The new controller could now be damaged by power from the other parts. You could carefully replace them all one by one until it works, but this will be expensive. Buy a used machine of the same make and model (search Ebay) and swap all its electronics over in one go. Or replace the machine.

My bosch washing machine Maxx classic wont turn on

Please check the main power from the power outlet the mains plug to the controller unit. If there is power then check within for the fuse, if fuse is intact then check for burnt items, if so the board could be damaged and needs a replacement. In most cases if the fuse has blown it is possible that the board has failed and so changing the damaged component could be difficult as the board is immersed in epoxy.

There is no power going through my Bosch 1200 washing machine. I have changed the fuse but nothing. The powe supply is fine. I have moved on Saturday and the machine was working fine in the morning

In such cases what is needed is to remove the power plug and using a multimeter you must check the continuity of the power to the main controller board. If so connect and check the mains voltage to the board. If the boarrd does not respond you need to remove and replace unless you are an expert to check for component level failure.

Machine worked fine last night. This morning spin not working. Have tested it empty, put it in spin program, a funny clicking noise and then nothing, then after a while indicator shows 01 - ie. finished!...

n most washers the F01 error indicates an control board problem. It is like an internal program error.

A power glitch can cause the problem.

One of the things to try is to enter and run a diagnostic cycle, or unplug the machine for 30 mins.
