Track your package through the company you used to send it: FedEx and UPS typically provide tracking information when you send it, and you can track it with the number provided. If you used USPS, if you selected the tracking option when you mailed it, again, use the tracking number. All these vendors have websites, with clear information about tracking. If you dropped it in the mailbox, you cannot track it.

It is not likely that there is a protective cover over the battery itself, if there is anything on it to prevent use while not owned it is a little pc of plastic holding the stem out. It is sad to say but there is no way to tell how long the watch had the current battery in it before you received it. It is common to get a new watch and have the battery die shortly after or be already dead. Go to a local jewelry store to have replaced, make sure they are able to test the old one FIRST, if the battery is dead, allow them to replace it, if the battery is fine, return the watch to Amazon.

I have a Fossil Kaleido that i havent used in some time. I just replaced the batteries in it and the only thing that works is it goes from solid red to hearts..it wont keep time. I only have 2 buttons on the side..one to change the time and one to set to either red or switch back and forth/// PLEASE HELP!! i love this watch

fossil watches are very temperamental when it comes to there insides. did you have fossil do the band or someone else? also they sometimes have corrosion from the seals not lasting.
