Question about Windchaser Heating & Cooling
Hi, your Windchaser portable air conditioner is not dead as you think, since the fan is still working as it should but the only problem is that it isn't cooling, then you leaked out the freon. All you need do is to get a a/c tech to refill the freon and it will start cooling back....

No doubt about it. They are out of business, the phone(s) have been disconnected and their website is down.I check several parts site I have dealt with and Windchaser is not a brand that is listed , that they have parts for. I am sure there are some interchangeable parts from other brands, but how to find it, without a part number is like looking for needle in a hay stack. Your best bet, would be to take the unit to a local small appliance repair shop that works on portable AC units. One look at the part and the would know what is a substitute for it.
Hope this helped you. If it's any conciliation, you're not the only one looking for parts for this brand. Amazingly, there are some units still on the market. Probably, the retailers know they're out of business, but can't afford to eat the units.
Thanks for choosing FixYa.

SOURCE: I have a Windchaser Portable
There is no model with that number listed on their site so it's probably a custom one, made very recently specifically for a chain of stores. In that case this one should be very close to what you have
But if the unit is an older model (as in at least 5 years), the one with rotating dials, then this is its manual
