My iPad is with three and good signal my iPhone with O2 but poor signal. If I tether them can I make and receive calls on my iPhone using three network from my iPad

i had something similar where my iphone just freezes and goes back to home 3 seconds after i go to the phone part of the iphone. I just went to settings>RiP Dev (something I downloaded after jailbreaking)>RiP Dev Products > Kate and there Look for a checked application called facelift. I unchecked it and my calling worked again. It was cause Facelift is not compadable with Winter Board (another app dled from installer) If this doesnt solve the problem then... sorry :x

Ladies and gentlemen!
Before you restore or update your cracked iPhones or doing anything silly to get you further in a soup allow me to suggest a simple technique that worked for me.
My problem was quite similar to the one you guys have posted above. I could do everything else with the iphone, even receive calls but when it came to making calls, the phone wouldn't let me do the same. It would return a Call Failed message!
If you have the same issue try the following:

Go into the phone settings and turn call forwarding, call waiting, show my caller id, and TTY off and reboot.

If that doesn't work try turning call waiting, show my caller id, and TTY on and reboot and it should work.

I'm not sure why this would work but it did for me and I hope it also does for you. Good Luck

Try updating the firmware for your router or upgrading the router itself if it's old.

To unlock iPad screen without password or to unlock disabled iPad mean you have to remove your previous pass code and restore your iPad. Here we introduce three methods which you can follow.
Method One: How to unlock iPad without password using iTunes
  • 1. Connect iPad to the computer you have synced with.
  • 2. Open iTunes on your computer and connect it with your iPad. If fortunate, you can enter the iTunes without password. But in most cases, there would be prompt asking for a pass code. You can also use iCloud to remove your password and recover your data if you have backed up before it was locked. And it is in the premise that you have set up Find My iPhone on your iPad, and you did remember your Apple ID, you can use iCloud to unlock your iPad.
  • 1. Open your laptop or computer, go to icloud.com/find or open the iCloud app.
  • 2. If the sign-in window pops up, just sign in with your Apple ID.
  • 3. There's an All Devices button at the top-left of the window, click on it to call out a drop-down menu and choose your iOS device.
  • 4. Click Erase (your device) in the prompt to finalize the process.
  • 5. Now you can either recovery data to your device from a backup or set up as new if there isn't any back-up before.

"Poor GPS Reception" error on iPhone Tom Tom GPS
Unfortunately it appears the iPhone's GPS chip isn't up to much as we've all suspected. Some people can get it working while many are reporting, like you, that they get drop outs and poor signal strength errors. This is happening accross all the iPhone Sat Nav apps so it points the finger at the GPS chip itself, especially as many of these people are stating they have dedicated tomtoms and the like that work fine. I've tried Copilot, tomtom and others on the iPhone 3GS and none are able to keep signal long enough to be any good. In fact they are a complete waste of money.
