BROWSER COOKIE FUNCTIONALITY IS TURN OFF. UNABLE TO TURN IT ON

A cookie is a string of information that is sent to your computer from each website that you visit. Cookies are harmless. Why would you want to delete them then? The reason you would want to delete cookies from your computer is that they can store information such as user name, IP address, password, email address, shopping cart items and any strings of information that can be related to your identity. Cookies that are on your computer may slow your computer down. Therefore you may want to delete cookies from your browser. Here is a very simple guide on how to delete cookies manually from your computer.

Click on "tools" in your browser. This is usually located in the upper right corner of your browser. Click on Internet options. This will appear in the drop down box and is usually at the bottom. Under the "General" tab look for "Browsing History." Under this heading you can click "Delete" to have the computer delete all cookies for you automatically however to delete the cookies manually click on the "Settings" tab Click on the "View Files" tab under the "Temporary Internet Files and History Settings" box that pops up. When you do a second box will pop up with a list of cookie containing files. This may take a few seconds to load so be patient while waiting for the cookie files to load. Highlight any cookie file that you would like to delete. You can highlight more than one at a time by holding down the 'Ctrl" button on your keypad Delete the files that are highlighted by clicking on the "delete this item" located to the left in the same box. As soon as you do you will see the selected files disappear. When you are done just "X" off; this completes your task of manually deleting cookies.

You might also do a disk clean up click start click on computer to open right click on your hard drive usually C: select properties in the general tab select disk clean up click ok you can view files to be deleted

Hope this helps

Hi! You can try Deleting cookies:

How to Delete CookiesClearing cookies from your Web browser is simple and easy, and doing so could help protect your private data while you're online. Here's how to do it.

By Michael King, PCWorld Nov 3, 2011 3:00 am

Cookies are usually delectable delights, but Web cookies can sometimes be less than delightful. These little files hide in your computer so that your browser and websites can track your browsing sessions and save certain useful information, such as account names and passwords, for later retrieval. Although cookies may seem harmless overall, they can threaten your privacy if an attacker tries to use them maliciously.

Because of that threat, most modern browsers make cookie storage easy to understand and control. They also make it simple to remove individual website cookies, or even to delete cookies from your computer entirely. Here's how you can perform the latter task in some of the most popular browsers.
Delete Cookies in Google Chrome

1. If you're running Google Chrome version 14 or higher, click the wrench button in the upper-right corner of the Chrome window. From there, select Options.

2. In the navigation pane of the Options page, click Under the Hood.

3. Under the Privacy section, click Content Settings.

zoomicon.pngcontentsettings-5232058.pngClick the 'All cookies and site data' button in the Content Settings window.

4. Under the Cookies section, click All cookies and site data.

5. When the list of cookies appears, click the Remove All button to delete all cookies stored in Chrome.

Alternatively, you can navigate to the Cookies section of your Chrome browser and click the Remove All button to delete all cookies in one fell swoop.
Delete Cookies in Firefox

1. Make sure you're running the latest version of the Firefox browser, and then select the Firefoxmenu. From there, select Options and then Options again.

2. Click the Privacy tab to bring up your user-privacy options.

3. Under the History section, click the Remove Individual Cookies link.

zoomicon.pngcookieswindow-5232059.pngClick the Remove All Cookies button to zap them.

4. At the bottom of the Cookies window that appears, click the Remove All Cookies button to delete all cookies associated with your Firefox browser.
Delete Cookies in Safari

1. Confirm that you're running version 5 or later of Apple's Safari browser, and then click the Gears menu in the upper-right corner of the Safari window. From there, select Reset Safari.

zoomicon.pngresetsafariwindow-5232063.pngIn this window, check the bottom box, 'Remove all website data'.

2. Check the bottom box, labeled Remove all website data. You can uncheck everything else if you want to remove only cookies.

3. Click the Reset button to eliminate all cookies associated with Safari.
Delete Cookies in Internet Explorer

1. Upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer. Select the Tools menu from the Internet Explorer window, and click Delete Browsing History.

2. In the Delete Browsing History window, check the box next to Cookies. You can uncheck everything else if you want to remove only cookies.

zoomicon.pngscreenshot2-5232067.pngFrom here you can choose which parts of your browsing history to erase.

3. Click Delete to remove all cookies stored in Internet Explorer.

Congratulations, you've successfully cleaned out your browser's cookie cabinet. Although cookie files pose a potential threat to privacy, don't forget that they can also improve your Web browsing by making it faster and more convenient.

I hope this information will be helpful. Thank you for using FixYa!

Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. Cookie: VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=5gcTVq-0wa8; PREF=gl=US

Hi there!

If "your browser sent a request that this server
could not understand" - and "size of a request
header field exceeds server limit", that strange
request may be a bad or "super-sized" cookie.

Simply delete all your cookies, and everything
should be fine.

While you're erasing your cookies, you should
also be deleting your "temporary internet files"
and "history" to make everything fresh.

Here's how:

Internet Explorer 6:
→ Tools → Internet Options
→ Delete Cookies → OK
→ Delete Files → OK
→ Clear History → Yes
→ OK

Internet Explorer 7:
→ Tools → Internet Options → Delete...
→ Delete files → Yes
→ Delete cookies → OK
→ Delete history → OK
→ Close (browsing history window)
→ OK

Mozilla Firefox
→ Tools → Clear Private Data
[x] Browsing History
[x] Download History
[x] Saved Form and Search History
[x] Cache
[x] Cookies
→ Clear Private Data Now

Have fun!
