SOURCE: My JL subs just dont beat like the ONES IVE HAD before as well as the ones my friends have had
sounds like they have your sub amp in mono but they put the speakers in series which totally cancels the benefit of running your amp in mono. you will probably be happier if you just hook the left speaker to left plus and minus and the right to right plus and minus. Cuz even though subs aren't directional they do pass some higher frequencies that are and that dilutes the stereo effect.

You can gently tap a nine-volt battery to the side of the wire pair that will be connect to the amplifier. When you've got the loudspeaker connected in proper phase, the speaker will push out, instead of pulling in.

Go down to your local RadioShack or any place that sells wire of any sorts (heck, even Walmart might carry it now) and ask them for speaker wire. I'm not sure what the impedance of this particular model is, but you should be able to find it printed on the back of the speakers, or in your user's manual. This guide will help you to identify what size speaker wires you need, that way when you go in looking for speaker wire, you'll at least sound like you know what you're doing.
SOURCE: the speakers have a jointed positive on one side
A single mono power amplifier has usually one output to the speaker and this output can be connected to 4...8 Ohms speaker. If you have two speakers, they can be connected parallel or serial.
In my opinion they should be connected serial because in this case the resultant impedance would be 2 times more than one speaker's one.
The connection:
We have speaker(1) with poles 1+ and 1-, and speaker(2) with poles 2+ and 2-.
We have amp output with poles amp+ and amp-.
Connect speakers 1- with 2+ together,then connect amp+ to 1+ and amp- to 2-.
Good luck!
Thanks.
