When i trying to start my laptop there is no response at all only power indicator light and the fan that turn on and the other didn;t response at all please tell how i fix this problem
If its not doing anything at all ,your power board may be bad as well as your ac adapter maybe faulty. Also the power jack where the adapter plugs in may need resoldering or replaced.

Did you reset once the power was turned off to the desktop and all residual power was drained before moving the jumper?Seems not - from the info supplied which has damaged the circuitry in the board.
The orange light shows the battery is charging. It will turn green when the battery is fully charged. The white light shows there is power entering the computer. The usual problem with a computer when there is no response to pressing the power button is that the motherboard has failed requiring the replacement of the motherboard. If the computer is still under warranty there should be a free motherboard replacement, if not, and you are able to do the replacement, you can find motherboards for sale on various websites. Be aware that motherboard replacement for laptops can be expensive if done by computer repair shops.
1. Check your power cord & adapter. 2. If its working then check the battery, reseat the battery & check. 3. If available then check with another battery 4. If no, then remove the battery & switch on the PC in AC mode. 5. Check if battery charging indication or AC power on indication is glowing. if not then need to change ur motherboard. 6. If indication is OK, but could not power ON then check ur RAM for any loose connection or dust. clean & reinstall.
Try the following. 1. Remove battery and plug in the AC Adapter and
check if it works If yes - Battery is defective If no - Motherboard Problem/AC adapter
2. Check the AC adapter LED indicator if its
lighted or not(double check by a multitester) If lighted - it works
properly if not - replace 3. Try to reinstall WINDOWS operating
system by the use of the installer CD 4. Reformat your computer and install necessary drivers and applications

I HAD absolutely the same problem >> 3 months of god **** stress, didn't find any solution, till one day i found on my Recovery CDs one note!! >> It sounds like: "BEFORE pressing power button, HOLD 'C' button and while Holding 'C' button push POWER Button ONCE!! to start Laptop, KEEP Holding 'C' button!!! untill appears TOSHIBA screen!" then release 'C'. After that, it will appear "Operating System not Found">>then just do a restart by pushing Power Button and Start again! For me, It Worked!! and i'm god **** happy now)...let me know if it Helped you, Good Luck!
do static discharge
disconnect battery and all peripherals. disconnect from mains. press power button and hold for 30 sec.
Connect to mains and try to turn on again
If it will not start - mainboard needs replacement
thanx
I sent my laptop to Toshiba and they said they removed the 3rd party memory I installed (although I tried this prior to shipping). I didn't reinstall the memory and now it works fine.
Hi, the problem of which they power on both led and on having pressed the button of power on does not spend anything, it indicates that his equipment does not ignite and probable mas is that mother has got damaged the card reason for which it does not ignite the equipment.
- You may want to try to reseating all neccessary things on the system like optical drive, hdd, memory but before you do that disengage the power from the system like the ac and battery.
-If no..go try to remove the optical drive first and then turn the system on, then if the system boot without the optical drive shut it down and put back the optical drive and boot to bios and load the default setting and boot the system normally.
