SOURCE: Child Lock on or Flashing Energy Saver Dry

I suspect that the cycle "button" on the control panel is intermittent.  Try using a different cycle - If you always use "short wash", try the "normal" cycle.
This worked for me.  It will be too expensive to repair, so I am dishwasher shopping.

Get your refrigerator repainted before it is too late. It isn't that costly. Cracks may be due to rusting. Ask those mechanics about it when you give it for painting.

SOURCE: hot spots on door and side of frig

www.viewpoints.com/Samsung-RS2630SH-review-fe12- HELLO, what is taking place is resistance is building in these areas because you have strip heaters in the doors on the freezer and refrigerator door. This keeps any moisture from turning to ice. There is not a lot that you can do or that I can lead you to do with this going on. Some heat is normal as they are heaters. But, if these spots are hot to the touch, being that this is a expensive and new box, I would call the manufacture and ask questions to satisfy you. I would not worry about this unless it is to a point to where you can't touch it, smell any electrical or burn smell, but not to worry as they have many safety controls to keep anything from burning up as I didn't want to scare you. Some units use hot freon liquid or gas that runs through coils in the freezer to keep ice from building up. I have done some research on this model, and it is a very common complaint from new owners. The factory is saying as I said not to worry, a normal condition with this unit. If you start to loose any cooling in either compartment, to call them. I added a link for you on this unit as there seems to be a lot of complaints on this model. I pasted it at the top, so I hope you read my info before going there. Please keep me posted on the outcome and I wish you the best
Sincerely,
Shastalaker7

May tag plus madel MBB2256GEW has condensation between the closed refrigerated and bottom freezer door . We already replaced the seal on the frig. but no luck, I open the frig door and it drips .

This is likely condensation that occurs when the surface of the door frame (the part the gaskets close against) drops below dew point. Dew point is the temperature at which moisture condenses and varies from day to day depending on temperature and humidity. Refrigerators have a "dew point compensator" that is either an electric mullion heater or a "Yoder" loop made up of a part of the condensor coil. Both supply a small amount of heat that keeps the surfaces above dew point. Be certain your box doesn't have a switch for "Energy Saver". If it does, then turn off the energy saver. This switch controls the mullion heater. Turning the energy saver off - and the mullion heater on - will prevent more moisture from forming. It will NOT remove moisture already there, just wipe that off first. Other external causes could be a HVAC duct blowing cold air on the refrigerator, a refrigerator/freezer door left slightly ajar or (the worst case) a separated heater inside the case. (On a foamed in place cabinet this is not repairable.)

Ge profile side by side sweating on frig wall next to freezer

Your fridge may have an optional energy saver switch set to on. This turns on & off the heater strips along doors and other key locations.

When set to ON (or the Energy Saving position), energy savings is realized as it powers down the heaters that are designed to evaporate the condensation that can naturally form there - especially in warmer / humid weather conditions.

Slide the switch to OFF to to disable energy savings and have to pay for additional power to operate these heaters. You may find that you need only select this position at certain times of the year. Experiment to see if you can enjoy savings during the other times of the year.

Looking for energy saver switch because the center panel in between frig and freezer is getting very hot!!!

pull out the machine, remove the back bottom panel and make sure the condenser fan is blowing, also check the condenser coil, when the fan or coil are blocked with dust this can happen or if the fan isn't blowing to cool down the machine.there is no energy saver switch on it.next time send the model number so i can look up your machine to help you better.

The divder between my frig and freezer is also hot

This is normal. Modern frost free fridges have heaters built into the front edge of the cabinet to help keep the accumulation of surface condensation and excessive ice build up on the door edges inside the freezer and fridge.

It is nothing to worry about, but you might have an energy saver switch inside the fridge section that you can turn "on" to turn OFF the heaters (energy saver means the power using heaters would be OFF when the energy saver is "on", turning it "off" means the heaters are ON.

But not all fridges have a switch to turn off the heaters, so don't worry, just accept it and don't buy a new fridge until you need to.

Hope that helps, best regards!

Hot refrigerator door jamb

This may be part of your energy saver. The opening around the door will be warm, but not hot to touch, to prevent condensation from forming during humid weather. If you have a switch in the frig marked energy saver, switch it to off, check to see if the frame cools. This feature is automatic in some makes and models and there isn't a control. If no condensation forms when it is switched off, it is not necessary to run the energy saver. Check the owners manual, if one is available, for information on your particular model.

Open the dishwasher door, press in rapid sequence the following keys: Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry, High Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry. Close the door until it latches and press the Cancel key. The machine should reset itself. It worked for me when I had the same problem
