New Bushnell Neo Ion GPS watch only shows error code 07 at first and now error code 14,

5/26/09 I spoke with Bushnell technical support today and they informed me that this error "Er6" means the unit can not repaired. They said this is one of their oldest models and that they don't even have parts for it anymore. They did offer to have me send the old unit into their Returns department in Kansas, and in return for sending them the old/broken unit, they will send me an offer to buy one of their new units at a highly discounted rate. Not a bad trade I guess.

Try to download the service manual to your device from net. Usually these manuals won't get publically due to some security reasons. Anyway, just try to get it by search.

Serial number on the back of my Neo+.02 is not legible; how can I get this number to register device?

Many of these watch backs have difficult to read inscriptions. Using a magnifier will help increase the text size. Write down all the character strings and keep on a piece of paper with your watch user manual and proof of purchase. The watch company can tell you which are the model numbers. Also, very important, when the watch is opened be sure to write down the caliber brand and model number on the piece of paper. Thank you Bob

Can not sync devicebushnell neo+

If you have a PC (Windows) then you MUST use Java V6 as the software interface between your computer and the Igolf site. If you have already switched to Java version 7, it just won't work. Google: neo Java and you'll begin to see the problems. No support from either Bushnell or Igolf on this. I had removed Java (re: all the recent security issues being discussed and installed V7. The application would not launch. I had to remove V7 and go fishing for V6 on the internet and reinstall it. Then I wwas back to it working. There are a number of other issues people are having (two accounts on the same machine... neo and trying to register neo+), Registration expirations, etc. If you can reach the Igolf/Bushnell real technical support people, you will have a better time of getting what you need to work. GEEEEzzzz. Bad, Bushnell! The neo series is great but this iGolf married is playing havoc on your customers!

If you have a MAC, then you need to Google MAC, etc.

Downloaded the sync app to my pc but it won't install.

This seems to be a problem on PCs using Windows 7.

Solution:

1) Click on your Start Menu
2) Select Computer
3) Open Local Disk C.
4) Open Program Files
5) Open Bushnell
6) Open Neo Sync
7) Open Native
8) Delete IGolf.lck
9) Close out of everything, restart your PC, and attempt to launch the Sync Application again when your computer has started back up.

If the above fails to solve the problem, you need to install a new USB driver. Contact iGolf at 858-300-5513 and they will email you the PL2303 Prolific Driver.
