My advice would be: go to Landsman Smokey Mountain/search parts lists for their propane smoker/order the proper burner, mounts, regulator and hose. Assemble according to the Parts diagram. install a wood chip box. Happy Smoking.

Set Up the Tank

The first thing to do in using your propane smoker is to connect the propane tank to the smoker. Open its valve by turning it in a clockwise direction. Next, you need to locate the wood chip box. Fill the box with any wood that you prefer, like hickory, mesquite or oak.

I had the same problem with mine. I took the burner assembly at the knob apart and cleaned it and that worked for me. The grease from the meat dripped down on the gas orifice and hardened reduced the amount of gas being jetted to the burner. Hope this helps

try turning the gas nob almost to the off position this worked for me

Solution #1 is the answer -- replace the regulator. The problem is that the regulator is stuck closed. You can either replace it, or pop the little metal cap on the top off and adjust it. (Use a large philips screwdriver). Do a full turn counter-clockwise, and then 3/4 of a turn clockwise.
