SOURCE: NEC VT 460 LCD Panels & Fly Eye Lens

HI there

Firstly this ghosting image will NEVER be caused by your LCD's , so do not take them out.

Have you tried using a different cable ?

If you have and the problem still occurs , you will have to look at replacing the Mainboard.

SOURCE: Nec LT 240K projector

The projector is not faulty, but rather designed to project an image in the way you describe.

This allows such projectors to be mounted on a ceiling (in offices etc). The manual (which can can be downloaded from NEC) shows this pictorially.

I have just acquired the LT260 which has the same off-centre iris.

I bought a NEC NP M300W Projector and the picture was real weak and dim, so I ordered a new lamp and put it in and still the same problem.

M300w use LCX102 LCD panels
Sony Lcd panel is not durable

the font strokes are weak,
The color of the black font is not black enough
It means the lcd panel is failed

there are 3 lcd panels in the projector
Red Green Blue 3 lcd panels are failed

you need a new whole prism block with 3 lcd panels

The projector turns on but won't project any light through the lens.

If this is a NEC VT series projector, Change the lamp. When if it continues to blink amber and not project and image after installing a new lamp check the lamp cover to see if the micro switch tab on the lamp cover broke off. Some models have a built in lens cover. If the cover is not slid over to open completely the light may not turn on.

Kodak carousel 760h projector

Yes, there is a fix. It's a pretty straight-forward adjustment. You can go to this web page: http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-locale=en_US&pq-path=6499
The Service Manual there will detail the the adjustment.

The lens projector was pushed in and does not turn enough to adjust the focus.

hello therese prof, Hi, the lens is out of alignment, this could be aligned by disassembling the unit up to only on the outer part. of the case. once the cover is removed, you can re align the focus lens. no need to totally dismantle the entire unit. the lens is a separate passive device not connected to the electronics board.

I have a NEC VT700 projector. I replaced the bulb and housing because it would no longer turn on and the status light would blink every 2.5 seconds indicating the housing on the lamp had an issue. I...

I have solved that problems by replacing the plastic Lamp Cover. NEC says they wear out over the years due to the heat. If you have a spare VT700 about, swap covers and see if that works. or order one from NEC, thay cost 5 dollars.

NEC GT6000 LCD PROJECTOR

check the lens cover hood to see that it's on correctly, and that the lamp door is closed. if they are, check the switches. on the hood and the lamp door, there are plastic protrusions that hit the switch activators. if they are broken off or warped, you need to replace the door/hood. if they are there, check the switch itself. replace as necessary.

NEC VT 595 wont turn on. Just red blinking light

I had this same problem with 2 NEC VT595 projectors. My problem was that there was a broken "tab" on the lamp cover (the plastic cover that slides in place over the lamp) that is supposed to depress a switch which insures the lamp cover is in place before operating the projector. The tab was broken in half and not making the connection there for causing the blinking status light (.5 sec on, 2.5 sec off) indicating a lamp housing or cover error.

Nec LT 240K projector

In general you have to take off the lens and take it to a specialist who repairs gun scopes or binoculars. Me my self would not disassemble a lens unless I was perpaired to replace when it feel apart after removing screws Try calling them at 1-800-338-9549 or contacting www.infocus.com as they sell lens and projectors.
