It sounds like an Intergrated Circuit (IC) has fried. Even on a good day, this is not something you can attack at home. As a tech (and as an owner of that model samsung), I'd need a map & tools to know what's going on. Your best bet in this situation is to contact Samsung and let them recommend an authorized service center in your area. Sorry I can't be of more help, but this is a rather serious problem.

You have A buffer board out if the line goes up and down then its the long board going left from right look were the line is and see what board the line lines up on the screen and replace that one
these boards are the closet to the edge of the tv

look for the part number on the board and search with google or go to shopjimmys.com and seach there or call them
near the black lines. Unplug the ribbon cable and look for black chipson the underside of it, I think they say 100 on them, you need toresolder both ends on each chip. Should fix the black line issue. 168 views
