did it have enough cooling?

Try going into the Bios or System Setup and see if there are some settings for System Security or Asset ID Antenna. It sounds like something is set in the Bios. Turn the computer off, then turn it back on and watch the screen for which key it says to hit to get into the Bios or System Setup. Hit the key when you see the message or it will not work and you will have to reboot and try again.

At start up look for the bottom of screen.
F some to steup and press it.

Processor and video chip overheating, they have the same heatsink and maybe needs new thermal paste.

Start your computer and press F8 key your computer will go to safe mode setup, select the VGA Mode and Press Enter your problem will be solved.

bad power supply, check to see if the power supply fan is working, if not you have the answer
