I had to say this, but I am on my 3rd LCD monitors,
One shook like what you are saying, the other had colored streaks.
They will take them back, most of the time... sorry

Oh...That's bad news! Your panel it's damaged. Don't bother to replaced the panel, cuz it will cost you double the price. Get a new one for Xmas ... You'll saved even more $$$... Happy Holidays!

What you are experiancing is loss of High voltage. The line is called a retrace line. It is usally caused by failure of the flyback circuit or aging of the TV tube. This is the single most common failure with CRT based display systems. The high voltage can be tweaked up, to accomidate for the age of the tube. Its a short term solution. Because of the high voltage nature of this circuit, suggest a professional repair.

I have dual AOC i2553ph monitors. One day I came into work and notice one of them had a single vertical white line moving slowly back and forth across the screen that looked like a scan or radar function. I reset the monitor from the OSD and all is well again. Use "Extra > reset" from the OSD on AOC monitors.
