Question about Samsung Televison & Video
I got Samsung smart tv(2011) 46 led with no pictures and sound when turning it on. I replaced the t-con and main board but still have the same results. When I first on the tv I see black and white horizontal lines on the screen it lasted less than a second. Then I see a black screen with backlights on the back of the screen. I see the red on the bottom when I turn off the tv. The only thing I have not change is those three cables connected to the T-CON board. Might be bad LED screen? What do you guys think? Thank you in advance!
Did you change power supply? how many times does light flash (red) you didnt change the power supply did you use a vom on connections?

You will get a white screen when you unplug the t-con from the main board. Doing so removes power to the LCD panel. Verify that all of your voltages from the power supply are correct. If they are, I'd look at the t-con board. It sounds like there is a problem with the t-con that is pulling down the main board.

Stop buying hot TVs folks. If you bought it legit, you can take it back.

Sounds like fault with its main power supply bard too. Check all the wiring connections from the main board to SMPS board for any loose connection. Improper wiring too can cause this fault, due to AC line interference. Check these well, before replace the SMPS [power supply] board.

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

If the new T'Con too have damaged, surely its main power supply regulator board is faulty. Over voltage to T'Con board. Replace it and the T'Con board. Never switch on the set, without proper fittings to T'Con board. Its protective cover should be fitted before you switch On the set. It acts as a shield as well as a heat-sink to the IC at the T'Con. If you switch On without properly fitted, the IC will overheat within minutes and will be damaged. Keep this in mind next time.
