I experienced many boot problems with that motherboard : when I push the ON button, sometimes it works fine, sometimes the fan does one or two turns, sometimes nothing, very erratic behaviour.
does anyone have experienced such a problem ?

Thanks in advance

Hi, check for the foll. issues..BIOS not configured or bad,(Check Lithum Battery),or bad ram module, check if the SMPS itself is bad, less likely that the MOBO is bad.

Instrument panel works off and on also when this happens battery goes dead

Do a google search for "1998 voyager instrument lcuster solder" and you will find an abundance of posts regarding the soldered joints on the main wiring harness connector on the back of your instrument cluster. If the behaviour is at all erratic and unpredictable, or hitting the dash makes the gauges come back to life, then you are about 99.9% sure it is the solder problem. It takes about 8 minutes to remove the instrument cluster (okay maybe 15), and about 2 minutes to remove the circuit board. By examining the solder joints of the main connector with a magnifying glass, you will probably see cracked or corroded solder on them. Briefly reheat each solder joint with a soldering iron to re-flow the solder. Your erratic gauge behaviour should now be history.

My gauges all went out i check all fuzesand wiring not faund the problem

Do a google search for 1998 voyager erratic dash gauge problems and you will find an abundance of posts regarding the soldered joints on the main terminal connector on the back of your instrument cluster.

The caveat is (and there is always a caveat) it could be some other electronic component contributing to the problem. The solder solution above will at least eliminate the cluster causing the problem.

Generic PC push start button it powers on for 5 sebonds then shuts off.preSS start again and same thing...third try sge boots up and tuns fine..I swapped psu same symptoms...help plz??

The shutdown is less likely the switch, and more likely a system issue, e.g., the motherboard. This is especially the case is you've already replaced the power supply.
If the power supply doesn't detect a load on a certain power output (sorry, I forget offhand which particular output this is), it will shutdown.
That said, if the output mentioned above is connected to a defective motherboard, the system may act as you described. The intermittent nature of the problem probably indicates the motherboard is on its way to total failure.
At least that's how I've experienced it in the past.
Good luck.

T30 Intermittent Booting Problems - Depending on screen angle

It is issue with the screen cable connection. Replace it. or it is getting chaffed and causing issue in proper signal and power to the screen. It is hardware issue.
