Take it back it is likely defective if you know for sure you have a good TV signal. Do other TV's you own have this snowy appearance (white dots)

Utilize the MiFine AV. This is a great product I have used many times located here or anywhere you can find it. I have only used this brand as many other reviews have stated they have problems with the cheap ones from China.
