SOURCE: won't go in shallow end to clean

If your floats have started to absorb water, the unit may become reluctant to climb the slope from the deep end to the shallow end, although it may still at least start to climb and clean the wall. There are 3 installed floats in the unit bottom plate: 1 "h" float and 2 pocket floats. Aqua Service Distributors in Sequin, TX had a good price on replacements. Good people, too. S. My aquabot only stays in a small area of the deep end even if you move it manually it goes back to the same place, what can be done to solve this problem?

this may or may not help, sorry in advance. on the hayward series of robotic cleaners, this sometimes happens. it is from lack of water flow or reduced flow. clean the filters and if there is a restrictor plate, remove it. that will give more suction and allow it to climb better.
also, you might adjust the return jet direction to provide a circular path in the pool

Will not clean shallow end of pool heads directly to deep end

Make sure that the Floating Handle is locked diagonally across the top of your Aquabot's body.
Clean the Filter Bag thoroughly so that the fine particles of dirt that get trapped within the fibers of the
Filter Bag are removed. To test if the Filter Bag is inhibiting the
Aquabot's performance simply remove the Filter Bag and operate the cleaner without it. If the Aquabot then pumps
water strongly, and climbs the walls properly, the Bag most likely requires a thorough cleaning

My barracuda stays in the deep end and will not move to the shallow end of the pool

You probably just need to redirect the returns in the pool. If they are angled right (or wrong) they will get a current moving in the pool and cause the cleaner to go to one spot and keep it in just that area of the pool.

How deep does the water have to be for the pool rover jr.?

If this is the type of cleaner that runs with a long hose connected and has one end stuck in the skimmer, the pool will need to be completely filled to normal level. The pool is filled with crud right? Use a long extension pole with a leaf net on the end to get out all the stuff you can. There is no way around the hard work. Don't be surprised if you need to use quite a few bags of powdered chlorine or jugs of liquid chlorine to clear the water up. Don't give up, it's gonna be hot this summer.

Aquabot goes in one direction

Find a looooong straight area and, starting from the Aquabot, hold the cord straight and straighten it out by letting the cord twist so it isn't all gnarled and twisted - move down the cord, always keeping one hand firmly on the end of the cord closest to the machine (to prevent it from re-twisting). You'll find that the cord will spin like a top as you get closer to the end. Once untangled, pull down on the metal rings under each end of the top floating handle (may require a pull and a slap against the handle). MAKE SURE THE HANDLE IS LOCKED IN A DIAGONAL POSITION.

Aquabot Turbo T won't climb

1.`. Replace your old, water logged floats. They will dry out when the unit is out of the pool, and the unit will work fine until they water log again, which may takes as few as 10 minutes in the pool. 2. Stop using all those words *********** didn't teach you and probably didn't even know...This is a common problem. http://www.i-love-my-aquabot-automatic-pool-cleaner.com/ gives some really good insight, too!
