SOURCE: packard bell easynote L4
I found a PDF document that's a service manual for an Easynote H3. It takes you to the point of removing the motherboard. I know it's a different model, but maybe it's close enough. If you want me to email it to you, send me an email at [email protected]. It's a 1.3-MB file.
There are a lot of steps involved. I would recommend using a multicompartmented tray to hold the removed hardware. Be aware that some notebook ribbon cable sockets release the cable after you lift up on the outer shroud slightly.
If you do this job, look at the solder points first. If they look solderable, FIRST epoxy the power socket to the motherboard. When the epoxy has fully set, THEN resolder the joints. Use a low-wattage iron, not a gun.
I look at it this way: You can't make it work any less, and if you succeed, you'll be proud, and will have saved a lot of money.

Packard Bell (160248-01) Computer Speakers with a 12
volt power source worked OK,
Tried a 9 volt and it also worked.
This pair of speakers is grey with a
barrel design. The mounting surface placed flat is approximately 10.25
inches by 3.75 inches. Each end has a rainbow design with a depth of 2.75
inches. By placing with the mounting surface flat on your desk gives you an out
of the floor design. The front edge from the desk to the bottom edge is 1.5
from the surface to the top edge with a 3.75 inch. Suggesting you may mount
them under your desk, on the side by your legs or stand them on each side of
your screen.
I am told they come in white and black also I found them rather large for what I need but your decision is you should be happy before buying a pair.
