SOURCE: The picture on my JVC TV is too dark
On the inside of the TV, on the flyback transformer there should be two controls. Turn the one that says "screen" very slowly clockwise while looking at the pix. The pix should get brighter as you turn it up- if you go to far you will see lines in the pix or the TV may shutdown.

Hi Angel,
Are you really sure , your set has video? How dark is it ? As if really nothing visible? Am, sure you can hear sounds. You can adjust the brightness + button to increase the brightness. But if nothing happens , you have problem with your TV set. The problem might be in the Video section. Please let an expert technician to check it. Please don't do it by yourself, it's risky.
Please send feedback whatever comes up. So we can help you further in the future.
Thanks,
Eriez

Good Day, Techwanab;
Look for this to be your problem: CHECK FOR OPEN L2C50 PART #325C146030 ON THE SIGNAL PCB, OR BAD CONNECTIONS AND LEAKY CAPS IN THAT AREA.
Hope this was helpful and not too late.
Good Luck, big IRISH.

After 5 seconds the screen should come up and it will read "Lamp use time...Total lamp use time ....lamp reset" Press the center button on your remote (the circle button right in the middle of the four directional buttons) and you will be reset to -0- again. Your orange light should now be off.
