Download its user manual, and check audio settings. Refer it. If all settings are OK, still no sound output with on-air programmes, teh sound detector section has the fault. Seek tech support. This is a skilled work, and need all measuring instruments and through knowledge in electronics. To download the user manual, click here.
I have a honestech TVR Tuner card (Philips SAA7130 TV Tuner/FM Radio/Video PCI Capture) on my *other* computer. I can watch tv no problem, i see stuff, and there's audio. But when i record, i can only record image, no sound. It asking for digital singh and not instaling praperly
When you play the video back and get no sound are you doing this on your camera or on the computer? I have the same camera, and noticed that when I playback something I've recorded I don't have sound either, mind you I don't have static either. But once I've uploaded the video onto my pc the sound is there.
Check your sound properties. It is probably defaulted to a low setting. Try raising the setting to one that says DVD quality and see if that fixes your problem. Hope this helps.
Check your signal strength on your second tuner. Dont forget to check all satellites and, if you use the signal meter instead of system test, a few odd and a few even transponders.
I was having the exact same problems, and I read a post on this website somewhere recommending that I just record a few seconds of video on a blank portion of tape and then the camera should start playing video normally again.
try installing the necessary video codecs required to playi.e., based on which format your tv tuner plays, also install the software once again from your tv tuner cd
