How do you erase the emerson cordless phone numbers

It depends on your service provider. Try calling your own phone number from the em7000.

To erase a number from your blocked calls list;

1. Press [MENU] [#] [2] [1] [7]
2. Press the [?] or the [?] button to select the telephone number that you want to erase.
3. Press [ERASE]
4. Press the [?] or the [?] button to select [YES]
5. Press [SELECT]
6. Press [OFF]

Usually it means that you accidentally saved a misdial into your phone list. Just delete them after you verify that they are not shortcut dialing numbers.

The "+" is simply punctuation, used to make the country code stand out. You don't dial it, just as you don't dial the "-" in a local number.

Viewing/editing/erasing block call
numbers
1 {MENU} -> {#}{2}{1}{7}
2 {V}/{^}: Select the desired item.
~To exit, press {OFF}.
3 Proceed with the desired operation.

■ Erasing a number from blocked list:
{Erase} -> {Yes} -> {OFF}

you can also edit:

■ Editing a number:
{Edit} -> Edit the phone
number. -> {Save} ->{OFF}

On page 35 of the pdf it suggest that you press and hold CLEAR to erase all characters in the name and number.
