Me too! The only thing that the Sansa left is the blue ring. I formatted the e250 and the software all gone not even in recovery mode. Is anybody know how to re-install it from the bottom?
Thanks! [email protected]

How to connect a disabled ipod to i tunes

Place the ipod in to recovery mode ( power down and then plug in the USB cable to the computer with iTunes that is connected to the Internet, and then with the end that plugs in to the ipod, 0lug it in while holding the home button down) the ipod should boot up with a image on the display that shows iTunes symbol and a cable needing to be plugged in itunes should recognize that the ipod is in recovery mode, iTunes should say some thing to the affect of ipod has been detected in recovery mode, it needs to be restored before you can use it, ALL INFORMATION WILL BE LOST, no way around it

Tip

What To Do If Your iPhone Or iTouch Won't Turn On

Try to reboot the iPod, just in case it has crashed
  1. Hold the top button and the home button for about ten seconds.
  2. A bug can stop the screen from displaying, sometimes you can reverse the problem by doing the reboot. If you still see nothing on the screen, try to plug the iPhone in to the computer and try the reboot method again.
If you are still unsuccessful in turning on the iPod, but the iPod shows up in iTunes, try restoring from iTunes to fix any bugs causing the issue
  1. Plug the iPod in to your PC, go into iTunes and click the iPod's icon on the left side of the screen.
  2. In the iPod Summary Screen, click on the restore button and agree to the prompt asking if you really want to restore the iPhone's software.
If you are still unsuccessful in turning on the iPod, but the iPod doesn't show up in iTunes, try putting the iPod into recovery mode
  1. You can put the iPod into recovery mode if it has a charged battery.
  2. Start by holding down the home button before connecting it to iTunes, then continue to hold the button until iTunes recognizes that the iPod's in recovery mode.
  3. Recovery mode allows you to perform a restore when you're when an iPod fails to turn on or display anything on the screen.

My ipod touch is locked up completely, i cant even punch in my passcode because it aint showing anything

If you haven't turned it off then back on, try that. Most likely you are going to have to put it into recovery/restore mode and restore it from a backup, or just restore it to factory settings. Here is a good walkthrough on that process: Recovery Mode If that doesn't work, please post again on here and we can try something else.

My Zen Vision M 30GB mp3 player won't turn on, the blue light at the top flashes but the screen won't pop up, not even when i plug it in to charge it (which it usually does automatically). Now, i tried to...

Mine does the same thing, You just have to leave it plugged in for a long time, and after a while the black screen with the battery that tells you it's charging will show up.
Trust me, it'll happen.

My Sansa e260 4gb player wont turn on at all nothing is happening with the blue ring or when pluged in to the computer it just stopped working after I pluged into the computer to charge

It's dead. Throw it out and buy an i-pod. My e280 did the
same thing. One day: fine, the next day: Blue Ring of Death.
I have tried everything on the internet, even downloaded Ubuntu and typed in all the e200tool Nuclearscriping BOARDSUPPORTSD and Manufacturing Mode commands. Nothing. It's dead 2months out of warranty. Piece of %$#@!!

Try the iPod recovery method in your user manual - each iPod has a slightly different recovery method - go to Apple website if you have misplaced your manual.

Common problem...yet no working solution...

I think there's a capacitor that holds a charge for the blue-ring-of-death. The fix is to hold the menu button down for about 30 seconds (blue ring disappears) and continue holding for about 15 more seconds (or until re-boot). The additional time is required to discharge the capacitor.
If that fails, there is a safe-mode: place the device in hold, and press the mic and menu buttons at the same time. This usually doesn't apply to the blue-ring problem, but it may help.

Sansa e250 not workking

This is the generic solution for most problems.

Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website. Make sure you select "format" when prompted.

http://rapidshare.com/files/67740173/e200fw01.00.12.exe____

You need to put the device into "recovery mode" before you run the tool.

- Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds)
- Slide the hold switch into "hold" position.
- Press and hold the "record" button while connecting it to your computer. Keep holding the "record" button until you see the "new hardware found" on your computer.

Then run the recovery tool. Select format when prompted.

** if it doesnt go into recovery mode, there is nothing else you can do other than have it replaced if its less than 1 year old.

Best of Luck.

Please RATE my solution at the bottom.
