Mp3 not reconizing media player songs?

Curtis mps515 512mb mp3 player i have disk and cord but my computer don't upload any music from my media player and i have the current one of those.. i won't accept the drivers and put music on my mp3 player it says i need proper driver???email me at [email protected] with any help or web site to get drivers i need for player thanks..

    I have the curtis mp3 player mps515. It won't accept any of the download that I have. And the disc that came with it will read and download but the program will not accept the music. What can I do besides throw it away.

Throw it away. I spent hours on the thing before I found out about the firmware upgrade, and hours more after that. The upgrade apparently toasted it beause I disconnected after it ran for 15 minutes in "initializing" without any apparent change.
I will never buy anything with CURTIS on it for the rest of my life.

You should connect your playes to the computer using the USB cable it has. It should appear as a Retrivable Disk. Depending on bran, some has a folder called music, Copy your mp3 files to that folder.

You must have Windows Media Player installed in your computer to be able to download songs to your computer...
You can put your CD in the CD player tray, be sure Media player is running and then you can download your music to it...also if you download mp3's from the internet, You will load them in Windows Media Player.
After you have the songs you want to have on your Player is downloaded to Media player then you will the plug the player in to your computer with the data cord supplied with the MP3 player...
Media player will open, select the songs to put on the player ...and download them to your player.

drag the music from the music folder to the removable disk

HOW TO PUT MUSIC ON IT

You will need a USB cable that came with the device. First load the songs you want into a folder on your Computer (PC ) . Then connect the Curtis to the PC using the cable. Right click on the song folder and select copy. Then go to My computer and right click on the Curtis tab and select paste. The song folder will be transferred to the Curtis.

ITunes songs are NOT MP3 files. they have a file extension that is only reconized on apple products. If you have songs on a CD and a windows based computer, you can change the songs to MP3 in the media player and then transfer them to your MP3 player.

yes you can your mp3 player can play both wma or mp3 types of format so if you have songs in your windows media player or you have a other sorce that you use to play your music with you can upload your music to your nextar,it should have came with a usb cable plug 1 end into your nextar and the other end into your computer to upload any of your downloaded music including any music that you have stored on your computer off cd's or and music that you got off the internet.

Uploading songs onto the Missil flashMP3 player

Drivers required only for Win98. Other versions on Windows have drivers installed. Plug usb cord into PC and into Missil Player. Open my computer, removable disk which is the Missil player) and file where desired music is. Drag music from storage file to "removable disk in "my computer". Treat it as a hard drive copy to, delete or format. To continue playing where you left off when restarting, hold off/pause button down for 3 seconds before shutting off.

Uploading problem

If you have got a usb cable insert it in your mp3 player and the usb port of your computer.
In My Computer a new removable disk icon appears.
Open the drive and paste the song files and directories in the disk.
Now click Safely remove hardware button in the taskbar.choose Safely remove hardware and the computer shows safe to remove hardware.take out the usb cable from both the ends.Switch on the player and listen to your songs.

when you purchase an mp3 player there should be a disk to download all the information the comouter needs to reconize the mp3 player. be sure to download the disk onto your computer

Uploading songs takes forever...

your computer might need to have a disk defragment run on it and also try that for the mp3 player itself
