Hi, I've got an Electrolux jet stream 6.5kg. It used to beep when the wash was finished. My daughter stopped this, she can't remember what she did. Can you please tell me how to reset this feature?

who has been making his own repairs for about 50 years. So the washer or dryer ID doesn't mean much to me. If you have a direct drive top load washer and need help taking it apart this video is an early christmas present. I was so impressed with it that when I saw all these people needing help, I wanted to tell them about it. If you look at the back of your washer and the panel is solid (no small inspection plate to remove which would indicate you have a v-belt drive) chances are you have a direct drive and this video is just what you need. First check your washer plug to see if the connections are tightly screwed. Next check your filter if you haven't for long.

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you hv drained unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something shd be blocking your pump, check this out

my electrolux EWT606 will not spin. it drains and then just wont go into spin cycle....no error messages it just beeps. can anyone help me please as i have kids with disabilities and NEED to wash!
