You're Foxconn board uses the Award bios. The long beeps you are hearing are telling you there is a problem with you're memory. You're pic does not look like the Foxconn P9657AB-8EKRS2H MB as shown in the user manual. Found on This link. http://www.foxconnchannel.com/product/Motherboards/detail_overview.aspx?ID=en-us0000297 The pic on Foxconn's site does but not the manual listed. The motherboard uses four 240-pin slots with 1.8V for DDR2 memory only. (Question? Did you're ECS MB use DDR2 memory)? If you have more than 1 DIMM installed remove all but 1. Move the DIMM into the closest slot next to the CPU. Boot the PC & check for beeps. If still presant move the DIMM to the next slot & try again. Continue this through all four slots. Than try another DIMM. If the mother board continues to beep as mentioned than call Foxconn. (There is a bios update mentioned below for memory). The CPU may come into question. (It’s revision). You may have to call Foxconn for this information. (580-272-0035). They do not place this information in their user manual. Most users have to call. The rev of the CPU may conflick with the memory causing you to receive the bios beeps. (I have had to return 2 boards for this reason). I picked an Asus board over Foxconn. I have come across this with Foxconn motherboards these past two years. Suggest you update you’re bios. Foxconn has a revision dated, 3-28-2008 for memory before you call. After bios update test the memory again for beeps. Still there? Return the board is my suggestion. It’s a guess that the red led will go away after the memory issue has been addressed. Normally there is a green led on most motherboards. This means standby. The board has power connected. I could not find any reference in the user manual * .pdf, for R450. Good Luck ninjo61! Mike
