How can I stop updates etc from coming through and eating up my text amount

Go into the phone settings and check the amount of free unused memory space left on your phone, to make sure that you have enough space to even update the store app, add new apps, etc.. If you are out of memory, you can delete other apps, games, etc. that you don't need anymore to recover some memory space. Also, you can delete any unnecessary saved info. from within some of your apps, instead of deleting the entire app from your phone. Examples: your call logs, text messages, voicemails, emails, search & browser history, photos, videos, documents, music, etc.. to clear up all kinds of memory space. If your memory space isn't the issue then it could be that you don't have a strong enough data connection to complete the download of the store update. Try connecting your mobile phone via a strong, high speed, internet connection to complete the store update.

Eat more fish. If you can not get fresh fish, then eat tinned fish such as sardines or salmon with the bones left in.

cut back on carbohydrates , sugars and starches
more vegetables and fruits and nuts
more fresh chicken ( no KFC) chicken and fish ( grilled --no batter)
main thing ---stop binge eating and cut down on portion size
jogging is good with moderate exercise

it is rare that a large text will block your incoming textes, clear all your textes from your inbox, outbox etc, if you can call your network provider, and as them to send you an update text so that you can send and receive textesan update text will clear any memory from your textes. Some networks will be able to update it for you over the phone .. hope this helps mate
