Question about Sanyo Cameras

1 Answer

In my Sanyo VPC e2100 found a AA battery had leaked into the chamber. Cleaned the area with a Qtip and white vinegar. The chamber looks dark and discolored & still not working. Can I get this fixed?

Maybe, but it will be expensive. May be cheaper to replace the item.

The VPC-S770R uses standard AA batteries. Chargers for rechargeable AA batteries should be available at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store. Do NOT try to recharge non-disposable alkaline or lithium batteries. Also bear in mind that the camera itself is not a battery charger. If you want to use rechargeable batteries then they must be charged outside the camera using a separate battery charger.

How can i increase the dof on my camera--- and how can i set tne aperture on my camera--sanyo-vpc-e2100

Take a look at this.

You can set the aperture directly in the Manual and Aperture-priority modes and indirectly in the Shutter-priority and Program modes. See pages 39-40 of this manual.

How to set the shutter speed on the sanyo vpc-e2100

Actually, you can set this cameras shutter time by 1) Set top knob to M 2) Make sure that the bottom of the screen displays this "OK: Adjust" in yellow letters, and below this it tells you the the F: variables, and the Shutter speed. From what I have experienced, this only goes up to 15 seconds. But, this is great for light painting in total darkness!!!

What type of battery is recommended to use in a SANYO VPC-S770?

With your Sanyo camera, you've got the choice to use AA alkalines or NiMHd rechargeable batteries.

Two suggestions: if you are still not comfortable with recharge batts, you can simply take along an ample supply of AA. Currently there are newer AA batts that are designed for extra life as well.

But if you want to give rechargeables another try, look for batts that have a higher mAh rating. This is the batt's lasting power..
So if you can find a 1600, 1900, .... the higher the better.
