My cyber shot DSC-T20 have a Error Code E:62:12 whatdoes this mean?

Press HOME> SETTINGS> MAIN SETTINGS> INITIALIZE> OK

Shake camera whilst it turns back on..may have to repeat a few times
The error E:62:12 is with sensor that tells to the camera in what position is it. (hor, ver..)

Sony has a recall for this problem due to defective lens. Call Sony directly and they will repair it free.

Sony Cyber shot DSC-T20 failed down

You need to call Sony to see if still have warranty and then if you do they will repair it for you for the cost of shipping. If not you will have to buy a new camera.

Vibration when using the Sony Cyber-Shot dsc-t20

Well, it seems that this is either a manufacturing defect or a defective/sub-standard part being used in the product. It would do Sony well to address this problem immediately so that all of us Sony lovers would continue to believe in their products. If this can be solved via a firmware upgrade then I hope Sony can guide us through it.

Vibration problem

Sony has recently discovered that with certain units of its "Cyber-shot" DSC-T20 digital still camera, a symptom may arise in which the camera body may vibrate when it is powered on, due to a mechanical failure affecting the lens, and it prevents the camera user from being able to shoot.
To ensure customer satisfaction, Sony will provide a free repair service when this symptom occurs within certain units covered by the serial numbers indicated in the serial number validation box below.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Your understanding and cooperation would be much appreciated.
Symptom and cause
The camera body may vibrate when powered on, due to a mechanical failure affecting the lens. This prevents the camera user from being able to shoot.
Applicable model
Digital Still Camera "Cyber-shot" DSC-T20.
How to check the model name and serial number
The model name and serial number are indicated on a sticker located at the bottom of the camera.
