I have the midland 75-822 and am having problems. The thing constantly flashes "Save" and the signal strength moves up and down while the "Save" flashes. I can't hear or key the mic while this is happening. This is the second unit that has done this. I have it hooked up to an external annteana and a 12v power source.

Has anyone come up with a solution to this problem? I just opened my box and I'm having the same problem - flashing save every 15 seconds and a click noise.

My OpenView is just flashing red light. What can I do?

If your Openview decoder is flashing a red light, it usually indicates that there is a problem with the device. Here are some things you can try to resolve the issue:
1?Check your cables: Make sure that all the cables are securely connected to the decoder and the TV. If any of the cables are loose, this can cause problems.
2?Restart the decoder: Unplug the decoder from the power outlet, wait for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. This will often reset the device and resolve the issue.
3?Check for signal problems: If the red light persists, check the signal strength on your decoder. Navigate to the signal strength option on your Openview menu, and if the signal strength is low, this could be the issue. Try adjusting the dish or antenna position or contact your service provider for assistance.
4?Contact Openview support: If none of the above solutions works, contact Openview support for further assistance. They may need to remotely diagnose your decoder or offer a replacement if it is faulty.
I hope this helps resolve the issue with your Openview decoder.

What to do if you cannot make call on your phone.

Before you even start trouble shooting ask yourself whether your phone may be barred from the network if it is stolen or the account holder did not pay their bill....If this is not the case then ensure that your phone is powered on. Hold the power button down for a full 3 seconds. (The power button is often located on the top of your phone. Please refer to your user guide for the location of the power button for your specific phone). Confirm that your service is active. If you are unsure, contact your service provider.
Check that you have sufficient network signal strength. When you are at the start screen or in a call, the strength of the radio signal is indicated by the signal indicators on the left side of your phone's display. These indicators move up as the strength of the signal increases and down as the signal decreases. To increase your phone's signal strength, try moving your phone slightly, or move towards a window if you're calling from inside a building.
If you are still unable to place a call, please contact your service provider. If they are unable to assist you, please submit your phone so it may be inspected for repair.

My channel 87keep it country is breaking down and intermiting

Possible there is a problem with the station or perhaps it has moved.
It is also possible your aerial has been damaged/moved and is no longer able to receive fringe stations, if ch 87 is a fringe station.

Try checking the signal strength of that channel in the menu to ensure there is enough signal strength and quality for decent reception.

Try doing a retune.

Check the station's website for status.

Sounds like a problem with the radio transmitter in the phone. You will need it repaired or replaced I fear.

I have the router right by my PC, it appears connected but no signal strength at all (no bars) what is wrong?

try changing the wireless channel on the router and see if that makes any difference.

Open the setup page of the router.
Go to wireless tan and change the standard channel to 11. save the settings.

You can also try updating the drivers of the wireless adapter on your computer.
If your router is too old then you must upgrade the firmware on the router.

The vocopro 5800 is constantly losing signal strength and going in and out with movement. How do I fix this problem.

1. Check microphone(s) batteries and replace if the
charge is low.
2 Remove local sources of UHF interference, such as
lighting equipment.
3. Adjust the squelch controls on the front of the UHF-
5800 receiver.
4. Signal may be too weak. If so, reposition antennas.
If possible, move them closer to the transmitter.
5. Reposition the receiver, perform a "walkthrough",
and observe the signal strengths. If audio dropouts
persist, mark these "dead spots" in the operating
area and avoid them during the performance.
If none of these could help it is possible that the device has really some faulty operation and needed to carry it to service center.
Good luck!

Receivers complain about squeeling noise from my midland 1001z when I transmit. Is this an RF Gain setting problem?

I had the same (squealing) problem on transmit with the Midland 1001Z when I used it indoors as a base unit. The problem was my power supply: it broke into oscillation when drawing more than 150 mA at 13.8V. The 1001Z draws about 150 mA on Receive, and much more (but only about 900 mA) on Transmit. If using the 1001Z as a base unit, I suggest you power it with a fully-charged car battery indoors, or test your power supply to check if it can't supply the required 1 Amp, approx., on Transmit. It's a GREAT radio, just give it a good power supply. My power supply was defective out of the box, but now I have a good one and get great reports on signal strength and audio quality. Remarkable, for the low price and 3 year warranty. Good luck!

Durabrand TV/DVD dct1481

The blue screen is fairly common and is displayed when inadequate signal is present.
In other words, 'no reception.'

The weak BBC1 signal is kind of a confirmation of your poor signal strength.

Keeps flashing check reception

I unplugged mine, took out the back up batteries, and waited several minutes.

I reinstalled the batteries, plugged it back in, and reset the time.

For now, it seems to have solved the problem.
