Backlight inverter may have died..I looked that model up and it seems to be a 2003, if that is the case, thank it for 6 years of service and consider getting a new monitor. I'm not sure what the inverter goes for plus labor to install may be less expensive to get a new one. Of course if you don't mind paying a bench fee, a computer shop can verify the integrity of the backlight/inverter..however if it is toast, you paid the fee and still have to foot out for a new monitor.

2010 rod king flash codes

2011 TOURING ODOMETER SELF-DIAGNOSTICS

Press and hold the trip odometer reset switch while turning the IGN ON to enter diagnostic mode, release the trip odometer reset button and "diag" will appear on the odometer display. However if "no rsp" appears instead then you either do not have the RUN/STOP button in the ON position or if it appears after the PSSPtbhas appeared then the particular module that "no rsp" is displacing is not present on the motorcycle. THEN press and release the trip odometer reset button again and "PSSPtb" will appear on the odometer display, the letters "PSSPtb" refer to the different modules that could display codes if the motorcycle is equipped with those modules. "P" indicates ECM codes; "S" indicates TSM/TSSM/HFSM codes; 'SP" indicates Speedometer codes; "t" indicates Tachometer codes; and "b" indicates ABS codes. If you rapidly press and release the trip odometer reset button you can cycle through all of these letter(s) one by one and they will flash as you do so. Once a letter is flashing its corresponding module has been selected to show codes on the odometer display. When a letter is displayed and flashing if you press and hold the trip odometer reset button, if there are no stored DTC's"none" will appear on the display. If any DTCs are stored in the module, whether current or historic, they will be displayed on the odometer. If you the rapidly press and release the trip odometer reset button you can cycle through all of the stored DTCs. If "no rsp" is displayed move on to the next module and when you get to the last module the display will show "end". If you want to clear all DTCs for any module press and hold the trip odometer reset button and they will all be erased from the computer memory. If at the end of a display of DTCs you want to progress to the next step or sequence for that module, quickly pressing the odometer reset button will cause the module part number to be displayed. After that display if you again quickly press and release the trip odometer reset button the display will move on to the next module display in the sequence of modules. When you are finished and wish to exit the diagnostic mode simply switch off the ignition or run switch.
continue to the next module.

If you want to do a quick of instrument function, a "WOW" test can be performed by entering the odometer self-diagnostics. In this test the background lighting should illuminate, the gauge needles should sweep their full range of motion, and the indicator lights that are controlled by the serial data circuit (the battery, the security and the check engine) should illuminate. If the instrument fails "WOW" test, check for a poor battery condition or connections and/or a poor ground connection condition and check for proper ignition voltage to the instrument. If any feature in the speedometer or tachometer is non-functional, you will have to check further into that/those area(s).

Observing the check engine lamp is the best way to start to diagnose ECM system problems. "IGN ON" means that the ignition switch is turned to IGN and the engine run/stop switch is set to RUN (even if the engine is not running). When the IGN is turned ON, the check engine lamp will illuminate for approximately four seconds and then turn Off again. If the check engine lamp is not illuminated at IGN ON or if it fails to turn off after the initial four-second period, then you must check for a no ECM Power situation.. After the check engine lamp turns off following the first four second illumination period, one of three events may occur. Which are i) The lamp remains off which indicates there are no current fault conditions or stored DTCs presently being detected by the ECM; ii) if the lamp stays off for only four seconds and then comes back on for an eight second period it is an indication that a DTC is stored, but no current DTC exists; iii) if the lamp comes on and remains on past the eight-second period it is an indication that a current DTC is in existence.

You need to cycle your freezer display to indicate 0 and your refrigerator display to 7.

Control and Sensor System Self-Test (0 7)

This test checks all five thermistors located throughout the unit. Once the test is initiated, the test code (0 7) will stop flashing and the thermistor test results will appear on the freezer display in the test order listed below. The thermistor test sequence number will not be shown on the display.

If the unit is not equipped with the Quick Chill option, the third thermistor (quick chill) will display a 0 and 3 audible beeps will sound at the temperature control panel. This is not a failure if the unit is not equipped with the Quick Chill option.

Thermistor test results:

• P = Pass

• 0 = Failed

• S = Short to 5 VDC

• B = Bad amplifier

Thermistor test sequence is:

1. Fresh food top thermistor

2. Fresh food bottom thermistor

3. Quick chill thermistor (displays 0 if unit is not equipped with Quick Chill option)

4. Evaporator thermistor

5. Freezer thermistor

Note: Thermistor test results will be displayed in the sequence shown above. The thermistor test sequence number will not be shown on the display.

Note the failures if any. Should ANY of thermistors fail you must replace it.

Having said that... at this point your stick with doing a manual defrost by unplugging the unit and directing a fan into the compartment for just over 2 hours to make sure ALL of the ice on the coils and in the drains has melted. (Yes it makes a water mess!)

After the manual defrost restart the unit / plug it in and once the compressor starts listen for the evaporator fan when the door switch is actuated and the condenser fan in the bottom of the unit any time the compressor is running. If either of the fans are not running you must find out why. Can be a door switch, motor winding or power to the motor. The door switch does not affect the condenser fan.

Finally if the unit is not automatically defrosting due to a component failure... i.e

Heater, themistor, or wiring you will see ice build up again in 2 to 3 days again and you will have to keep going through the manual defrosting routine until the automatic defrosting problem is resolved.

We just purchased a ge profile refrigerator today, and cannot get it off of demo mode

You have to go into the Diagnostic mode to see if you can reset this issue or if the main board in back is bad. Here's how to do it:

To enter Self Diagnostic mode, both temperature control panel displays must be illuminated. A display can be illuminated by pressing an adjacent temperature adjustment button. When both displays are illuminated, set the freezer and refrigerator temperature settings to 5. Simultaneously press and hold all 4 temperature adjustment buttons for approximately 3 seconds. A flashing 0 in the refrigerator and freezer displays will indicate that the refrigerator is in Self Diagnostic mode.

For temperature control panels with single-digit displays, the COLDER temperature adjustment button will increment the numbers up and the WARMER temperature adjustment button will increment the numbers down. Use the freezer temperature adjustment buttons to enter the test code number in the freezer display. Use the refrigerator temperature adjustment buttons to enter the test code number in the refrigerator display. When a test code has been entered, the displays will flash to confirm the test. Press the HOLD button for 3 seconds to begin the test.

For temperature control panels with 3-digit displays, the COLDER temperature adjustment button will increment the numbers down and the WARMER temperature adjustment button will increment the numbers up. Use the freezer temperature adjustment buttons to enter the test code number in the freezer display. Use the refrigerator temperature adjustment buttons to enter the test code number in the refrigerator display. When a test code has been entered, the displays will flash to confirm the test code. Press any button other than a temperature adjust button to begin the test.

First, run the control and thermistor test:

When testing has been completed, do the following :
• Enter code 1 5 to completely reset the system. Then press the Hold button (or any other button than a temperature button) to accept the code.

When you're done, unplug the refrigerator for 10 seconds and plug it in....if it does not run, the board is bad.
