I think if you push the heated wash and heated dry buttom several times until all the buttoms light up this may fix your problem.
You may have different kind of light flashing indicator, but the same solution.
Possibly check the sequence switch

It leaked before leading to this.
1- Unplug the power.
2- Dry out the leak.
3- Before taking off the lid seal, check if Lid actuator working by going to diagnostic mode. 4- Select LD.
5-Pull the drawer half way out so you can see the lid going down or not when you turn on by pressing lock button.
6- Press the lock button again to release the Lid.
7- Most the time it is a Lid actuator problem and your seal look good, then you replace the Lid actuator only.
8- If it is a problem with the Lid actuator and your seal look bad then replace all .

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. You are right
F1 error means that the flood switch has been activated. You’ll need to reset it by powering off the breaker or by unplugging the unit from the power socket and mains for more than five minutes. Please check that there is no blockage in the drain hose and it is not raised higher otherwise the water will run back to the dishwasher. Also perform the following procedure---

    • Unplug power and remove bottom dish drawer
    • Use a Sponge and dry all the excess water underneath
    • Remove circuit board cover
    • Dry all around and underneath as much as possible
    • Apply hairdryer for 10-15min

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Hi - here are the instructions to help with your project

1. Isolate from power.

2. To remove the outer door panel, remove the eight screws securing it to the inner door panel. Be careful of sharp edges.

3. To remove the handle, remove the six torx drive screws securing it through the inner door panel.

4. Refit in reverse manner.

Note: 230 volts is still present at the detergent dispenser and electronic P.C.B. unless power is isolated at the plug outlet or mains.

Location: The door handle latch is located within the centre of the handle moulding

and is retained by a pivot latch. The microswitch is situated on the side of

the latch and is clipped in.

After isolating the machine from the power supply:

1. Remove outer door and handle (refer Section 6.2).

2. Remove the latch by sliding it away from the P.C.B. console.

3. Unclip the microswitch from the latch.

4. Ensure the springs and microswitch lever are fitted to the latch when re-assembling.

Refitting: Refit in reverse manner.

Sorry I cannot provide a sketch for public view, I may get into trouble.

Cheers

Fisher & paykel fault "F1" is displayed on the top

hello
F1 means the flood sensor senses water at base of machine at PC board.
You need to take out bottom drawer and check for water puddle under where the drawer was.If there is water you can get the machine going again by comletely drying it out(F1WILL CLEAR),but it still means you have a leak. With bottom drawer out you can really see whats going on.Once F1 is clear you can actually run upper drawer and see if it leaks. Most likely culprit are the lid actuators.Replace all 4 . It'll run like new.Don't overload drawer .That can cause lid leak too. Also the PC board may be damaged and may start to go crazy giving fake F1 codes.$80 easy fix.
good luck

E-mail for Fisher Paykel DD603 manual

Josh, you will need to have a Tech out to look at it... F/P will not sell you parts to repair it. The F1 indicates that the flood switch has been tripped. There are many possible causes for this but probably the upper drawer link support has broken and is getting stuck between the lid and the drawer in which case you will need a new lid and link support.

My dishwasher keeps flashing F1 error message

The f1 code is caused moisture in the electronics part most likely in the door.see if there is any way that you can see where moisture might get in and plug that spot up. In the case of the f1 code when not using the dishwasher leave the door propped open to help dry out the electronics.
