Hello friend. Actually in the Acer Aspire 5720 model (in the main Acer website) it says Bluetooth 2.0+E.D.R (manufacturing option); which means there might be Bluetooth pre-installed in your laptop or not installed at all. Even if you have a Bluetooth switch on the laptop, it doesnt necessarily mean that there is Bluetooth. So, I think in this case, there is no Bluetooth device in your laptop.
Or if you are sure that there is Bluetooth module in your laptop then try reinstalling the bluetooth drivers. But in most cases, Acer laptops (most of them) dont have Bluetooth pre-installed though the laptops have a bluetooth switch. Hope I am not confusing and this would be helpful.
The Acer Aspire 4730 models DO NOT include any bluetooth hardware. The button is there because it shares much of its setup and hardware with the 4930 models which do have bluetooth. So, as the machine tells you, there is no bluetooth device to turn on and off. Check the specs from Acer's website and you will see no mention of bluetooth. You will need to add a bluetooth device. The simplest would be one that plugs into your USB port. Other than that little issue, the 4730 is a very nice notebook for the price.
Actually Acer use the same laptop case for some of their models, so the acer 4420 doesn´t have built-in bluetooth, you won´t find any driver for the bluetooth cause that reason. I have an extensa 4420-5910, have a bluetooth switch in the case but no bluetooth, if you check at Acer´s web page it say thet some models doesn´t have built-in bluetooth but the switch is in the laptop case... On the other hand, if you install an external bluetooth device, the case switch will be usefull to turn it on and off.
Have you looked to see if there is a bluetooth software bundle that came with your computer? If there is it should be as easy as finding the program on your computer that runs the software. Once you locate the program you'll have to setup the software with your bluetooth device. If you do not have a bluetooth device, setup will not work as it needs the device to automatically sync with your computer.
this will help
go to device maneger
check for your bluetooth device
check if it is activated
if not activate it
you could also check for driver details
just incase you dont know how to go to device maneger
