Zeiss ikon auto focussing Lens is pushed in. How to get it to work?

If I'm thinking of the right camera, there are two curved arms going from near the hinge of the front 'door' to the front of the bellows near the lens. Each of these curved arms has a short strut that slides from near the hinge when the door is closed, to the bend in the arm when the door is open. If you press gently on those two struts, pushing them toward the hinge, that should unlock the arm and allow the door to close.
