Notifications sounds from either external speaker or headphones, but never from the ear piece volume. Your question suggest that the external speaker is damage but it only works on external speaker. Try using a headphone or a bluetooth to make calls, if they work, then you need to fix the external speaker.

My icon IC 41 pro speak /mike low volume output

If you are experiencing low volume output from your Icon IC 41 Pro speaker/microphone, there could be a few possible causes. Here are a few things you can check:
  1. Check the volume settings: Make sure that the volume on your speaker/microphone is set to the maximum level and that the volume on any connected devices (such as a phone or computer) is also set to the maximum level.
  2. Check the audio source: Make sure that the audio source (such as a phone or computer) is not set to a low volume level.
  3. Check the cables: Make sure that all cables are properly connected and that there are no loose or damaged connections.
  4. Check the battery: Make sure that the battery of the speaker/microphone is charged or replace the batteries if necessary.
  5. Check the speaker: Make sure that the speaker of the speaker/microphone is not damaged or blown. A damaged speaker can cause a low volume output.
  6. Check the microphone: Make sure that the microphone is not covered or obstructed. A covered microphone can cause low volume output.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, I would recommend contacting the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or may recommend a qualified technician to repair the speaker/microphone.
It's worth noting that if the speaker/microphone is under warranty, you should contact the manufacturer to have it repaired/replaced.

What is wrong with my system? All plugs are in properly and volume is turned up. Blue light on front in lite.

If you're talking about speakers plugged into a Windows computer, then look in the lower right-hand corner near the time, and you should see a speaker icon. Right click that icon, and select "Open Volume Mixer" from the menu that pops up. On the mixer, make sure none of the volume levels are set to Mute.

If the levels look normal, try right-clicking on that speaker icon and selecting "Playback devices" from the menu that pops up. Do you see your speakers there? Is the green check mark on them? If not, click on the speaker, then click the "Set Default" button.

Speaker Volume Adjustment on a Motorola MC3190 Handheld Barcode Scanner

We have 'pens' that we can use on the screen, so I was able to click on the 'Window' icon at the bottom left corner, select 'Settings', then 'Control Panel', and double-click on 'Volume and Sounds'. I only work with touch-screen guns, so don't know how to get there without the 'pen'... though finger nails have worked, but it's tough with a small icon in the corner like that. 79c9c46c-b253-46a7-99b3-2b5d2ebe8945.jpg 615ed7cd-03b1-4121-8f14-ab44c21750a0.jpg 8f663bdb-630b-43c1-95d5-5ded8754f944.jpg
I don't know of any way to get it to vibrate. With our gloves, we wouldn't feel it anyway. In a warehouse, having the clicking sound loud enough means we can hear if a box is skipped or an error occurs.

Sound is not working on tour9630

Internal speaker sound volume is controlled by the rocker switch on the right side - directly below the headset jack. This will control both the private listening mode volume level and the volume of speaker when Speakerphone (or MP3 audio) is selected. The speakerphone mode is toggled on and off by pressing the "$" key (to the right of the "M" key).

Ringer volume is controlled by first selecting one of the seven customizable profiles under the speaker icon on the top left of the screen (below the battery gauge). Move the cursor to highlight the speaker icon and press the track ball. Choose the desired profile: Normal, Loud, Medium, Vibrate Only, Silent, Phone calls Only or All Alerts Off. Repeat the process - but this time scroll all the way past the profile list - and choose "Edit Profiles" instead. Here you can select the profiles one by one (or even add a new one) to customize them to your liking. You decide the sound, volume, etc for all the alerts for each profile. It provides a huge amount of customizing choices.

Finally, you can freely download the 314 page Blackberry Tour 9630 User Guide to learn about all the functions and tips using the phone.

Sound plays but very low volume even if plug to speakers and amplifier and full volume, you hardly hear anything. Hoping for a solution. Regards,

right click on the speaker icon in the system tray on the bottom right side of the screen and then click to open the volume mixer then make the speaker sound level to 100 %.

or go to the control panel from there click on the sound or speaker icon to open it after that go to properties and then make the volume level to 100%.

This should help to fix the problem.

Gateway NV52 Laptop charger sound.

I don't know if this will work with Vista but in Windows 7 you can go to the speaker icon in the taskbar and click on the icon above the volume control. This will take you to the sound properties. Click the levels tab and mute the PC speaker. This worked for me.

My blitz's speaker phone wont work. and the open/close, on/off, and ringtones, wont work... help! ive gone thru all sound settings and everything is "on" i can hear my calls thru the regular handset...

Try these couple of things:
The speakerphone feature lets you hear audio through the speaker and
talk without holding the phone.
  1. To activate the speakerphone while in answering or calling modes,
press the Navigation Key to the right.
  2. The phone returns to normal (Speakerphone Off) after ending a call
or when the phone is turned off and back on.

To adjust the ringer, key tone, voice call and speaker phone volume levels:
1. Press left soft key [MENU] (7) (1) (2).
2. Select the type of volume you wish to adjust.
3. Select the desired volume level.
4. To confirm, press OK.

Let me know if this works for you or if I can help you with anything else.

Loudness Equalization : on

Equalizer: Choose one (Jazz seems to be loudest setting but sounds of hallway effect so I use powerful for clarity.)

This has more than doubled the level of volume on my acer 5570.
