To reset fuser SC codes you need to enter Service Programme Mode and reset SP5-810 to 1, then turn the main switch off and on again. If you need help on entering SP mode etc. then take a look here.
Here is a page capture from the manual of the operation of your laser level/ Hope this helps. (highligt and copy to a viewing program like MSPaint in order to zoom in)
Had the same problem. Actually had vertical beam and one horizontal beam not working. I put the laser in the freezer for about 30 minutes, took it out and all the beams work. Prior to that I cleaned all the battery contacts and of course installed fresh batteries all to no avail. I have no idea freezing it worked but it did. Of course freezing it would cause condensation to form on the inside of the instrument but why that would make the laser work is not known. I hope it works for you. Jim from Fredonia.
Take the fuser out and clean under the thermistors, and reset the code by entering test mode ( turn off printer hold down online and escape as you turn on printer selece 2 engine go to sp5-810 and reset this.
-Carl, please let me know if this helps.
Even though I have no tech experience, I figured it must be a setting problem between the phone and my simcard but could not work out how to resolve it. I eventually solved the problem myself by doing a factory default reset. Lost a couple of downloads but so what ! It works now and I'm happy!
