It is very simple when you know the Amp Hour rate and how many Amps you are putting in. A 35 amp hour battery at 1 amp is 35 hours , So at 10 amps from completely dead 3.5 hours. Most of the time the battery is not completely dead and the charger reduces itself as the battery fills up. If the battery was run dead because you left the lights on and there are no other issues with the car 1/2 hour charging will be sufficient to get you going, the alternator is smart enough to top up your battery after that.
It has a rechargeable battery. However if you need to replace you may have to send them their RA dept.

get the battery in your hand and type in the details in the search section of e-bay and the battery will show up
take the battery to a good battery shop and get one
I also had the same problem of the battery not lasting a whole round. I found out that if the unit was left for any length of time after it had been fully charged, it would start to discharge even though it was turned off. I now make sure that if I'm playing golf the next day I will put it back on charge overnight.
this has worked successfully for the last 5 months approx
i also looked to find a replacement battery but without success
hope this helps
Not seeing it as a replaceable part - but...if you can take it apart and find a battery for it, why not? Start by taking it apart and taking the battery out, then check the battery for numbers, google those and see what you can find.
Good luck.
