Formatting clears the memory. If you can scroll through the menu on the camera and see a formatting button, that should clear it. Also, if you go to the Fuji website, you'll probably be able to find and download the owners manual.
You dont need the fuji software to view or print. You can use a card reader to retrieve your pics to hard drive and use MS Picture viewer to print from OR get Adobe photoshop.
you can also contact Fujifilmusa com/support for replacement software.

After reading the manual, it seems if you delete any pictures directly from your computer with your memory stick loaded into the computer, then you corrupt the memory stick. I usually use a USB cord, but not this time. So with that said. I need to buy a new memory stick. I will only delete pics directly from the camera from now on. It is not a camera issue, more of a "not knowing" issue.
in playback mode, press menu and navigate left or right to the erase menu. Scroll down to delete frame for 1 image deleting, or to erase all to remove all images.
FIRST , go to MENU of camera and look for SETTINGS , DATE & TIME , if you dont see this option then refer to the camera manual to see if you have this option, some camras have this feature and some of them dont , hope this helps AJ
As you posted, both cameras have their memory full then you need to free up the internal memory either by deleting the contents or transferring them (the pictures) to your computer.
To transfer to your PC, you would need the installer/driver CD that came with the cam as well as a USB cable. You need to run/install FinePix Viewer prior to the USB connection. Follow on screen instructions. When asked to connect the cam do so. All others are explained with illustrations on the User's Manual. A copy od the A700 User's Manual is available here.
Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.
Hi,
Sounds like a memory problem. You can try using the built-in menu utility function of formatting the memory (be it internal or external memory). Of course this will also delete all current files/photos in it.
Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things turn up or should you need further information.
Good luck and kind regards.
