the very fact that the clamps are holding suprises me. GREAT JOB!! i do recomend however that you dont do anymore cutting. go to the auto parts store and what youre dealing with is a garter spring style. these take a special tool that goes inside, just on the outside of the line and pushes inside to push outward on the spring inside holding the line in place.so insert, give a little twist or 2 and pull the line out. they are quite simple once you see how they work. the tools are pretty inexpensive. tell them you need the tool for ford power steering lines. they should know what youre looking for.
