The fuse keeps blowing out because there is a short circuit. Check the tailight sockets for corosion. Is there a tow package wiring installed?

First remove the bulbs then put in fuse if fuse does not blow then your wiring is good and it is in one of the bulbs replace one bulb at a time to see if the fuse blows, when it blows on the light you put in that bulb is your problem, sometimes you can't see the bulb is bad so buy a replacement bulb and try again if it does not blow you have fixed you own problem, if it does not your out ten bucks and it's time to take itto a mechanic, Hope this helps and if it does please rate me.

I have a 96 grand am and it keeps blowing the fuse for the tail lights and dash only

There is a short in your wiring.. i would look first near the tail light connector in the trunk.. and around the tail lights. If it blows that quick it is a dead short and you should be able to find it. move wires around and try another fuse.. if it stops blowing look at the last place you were checking the wires.

1997 Plymouth Breeze blows 20amp ign./ starter fuse when starting

When this fuse blows on a consistent basis, the large majority of the time it is caused by an internal short in the starter motor solenoid. The fix is to replace the starter motor.

Tail light fuse blowing

If it has a towing package harness,it might be in it.Remove all the tail light bulbs, and put a new fuse in to see if the fuse will blow.If it does, check the head light switch ,and the dimmer for the dash lights for a short. If the fuse does not blow, with all the bulbs out then look for a bad light socket shoring ,out,by putting one bulb in at a time, and when the fuse blows, that will be the socket that is bad.

96 bluebird le grand tail light fuse keeps blowing?

Anytime a fuse constantly blows, you either have a short in your wireing for that components circuit or the component itself is faulty. Inspect the wiring harnesses for each taillamp assembly and ensure no wires are damaged or loose. Also inspect wiring at the fuse box.

Mt plymouth breeze keeps blowing fuses wont even start

If it is blowing the starter fuse you probably have a bad starter with a high draw. You might want to take the car to a repair shop and have the starter circuit tested.....I hope this helps you.
