Bird nests (also called thread nests). Most common cause is because the presser foot is not Raised when the top thread is being threaded.

Make sure you have the correct bobbin, 66 class. Check the bobbin case. These machines use the apollo bobbin case that tend to get broken and then the thread hangs up.

No tension on my Singer 6212C sewing machine


Take the thread completly off the machine and rethread it making sure it goes thru the tension wheel properly.
FYI Loops on the bottom-- Problem is in the threadding.. Loops on the top, problem is with the bobbin.

The tension is off on my machine. The needle thread keeps pulling so tight that it snaps, and the bobbin thread is so loose that I'm getting loops on the backside of whatever I'm sewing. I thought that...


Loops on the backside mean there is no tension on top ,if the top of the sewing l;ooks good then the bobbin tension is correct make sur eyou are threading the top thread correctly
