You have yet to tell us the make and model. We can't give you a very good answer without that info.

You need to provide more information. What brand of netbook is it? When you say it is "frozen" be more specific. Does it boot up? Does it lockup before it boots at the initial screen displaying the brand name of the netbook. Once you answer these questions, I can provide you with a helpful answer.

my sons irola dx 752 is frozen, it turns on but locks up on the irola screen. I tried to hold the vol. button and the power button at the same time. it shuts it off, but when I turn it back on its still frozen

Can you boot up without one inside?
